This website uses Google analytics which collects anonymous usage data. This may be used to help make improvements to the website (such as user experience).

Personal data collection and use

We will store the details that you enter when you register for an account online in our online database. We will also store the membership details you enter if you join DrongO online in our online database. If you leave 'Include your details in the online members directory' ticked then other people who have also ticked this box and been verified will be able to see and use this information. Adding your membership details is subject to a verification process. We will only accept your details if we think you qualify to be a DrongO member (see the club constitution for eligibility).

If you subscribe to the mailing list, your email address will be stored in a separate mailing list database. To unsubscribe, follow the instructions at the bottom of the mailing list. Members may use the mailing list to contact other members about orienteering events, socials etc.

We will not provide your details to third parties without your consent.

Access to personal data

Please email webmaster@drongo.org.uk for further information or to request access to or the deletion of any of your personal data that we store. You can also do this by logging in and deleting your membership or account details.

Like most websites, this site uses cookies, which are small pieces of data stored on your computer that can persist even after you close the browser.

This site uses Google analytics to monitor site usage, which sets a cookie. We also use a cookie as part of the login process.
